Mary brings a wealth of skill, professionalism and over twenty years of experience to her clients.  After graduating from the University of Pittsburg with a degree in pharmacy, Mary moved to the Bay Area where she has enjoyed living for over thirty years.  Her knowledge, negotiating skills, friendly demeanor and honesty - hallmarks of her well deserved success - are appreciated by her clients and business associates alike.

Since entering the real estate business, Mary has demonstrated exceptional ability in the field.  She has been a top producer for many years and has achieved a sales volume in residential real estate on the Peninsula in excess of 1.6 BILLION DOLLARS. In the years 1999-2006 she averaged over $100,000,000 per year. In 2005 her sales volume was $207,850,629 and she was recognized in the Wall Street Journal as the Number Two agent in the United States. In 2006 and 2007 Mary’s sales volume exceeded $230,000,000.  She represents buyers and sellers in the San FranciscoPeninsula towns of Atherton, Woodside, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto and Menlo Park, where she has sold some of the areas’ landmark and most notable estates.

In 2005 Mary was proud to be joined in her business by her son Brent. Brent grew up in Palo Alto, attending PhillipsBrooks and MenloSchool before going to the University of Arizona where he graduated with a degree in Economics. After working at Wachovia Securities in San Francisco, he partnered with Mary at Alain Pinel. In addition to selling residential real estate, Mary and Brent are doing a development project of four townhouses in Menlo Park. Brent and his wife Stacy are proud parents of the newest addition to the Gullixson family, Conrad Ethan.
